Basics of the group

Groups will have 4-8 participants and will be led by Dylan Redd, LPC. Sign-ups will be based on monthly modules, at $130/module (4 75-minute sessions). The initial group is scheduled to start in March 2026 (if there are at least four participants).

  • Each group will be comprised of a psycho-educational presentation covering subjects and practical tools related to Adult ADHD and Executive Dysfunction. Each session will end with time to discuss challenges and seek support from the clinician and other group members. Homework is a part of this group and will need to be completed weekly to get full benefit from the module.

Group members are expected to attend all four meetings in each monthly module and follow group rules (as established in the sign-up paperwork). Confidentiality within the group must be maintained in order to provide a safe and productive working space.

  • This group is designed for adults +18 who are diagnosed with Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, or for those who struggle with Executive Functioning (Working Memory, Emotional Regulation, Impulse Control, Attentional Regulation). Participants must be willing to be open and honest, while providing safety for themselves and other group members.

  • The cost of each module will be $130, paid in advance. Participants pay for all four sessions of the module regardless of attendance. Please sign up only if you can attend all four groups in the module.

Groups are broken up into monthly modules. The module will run for 4 weeks, with each group session running for 75 minutes. The group will be held weekly on the specified day/time. Each module will have a general theme and goal for the group. Each group will include psycho-education, peer support, and therapist support.

  • Each module will have a specific topic. Modules are designed to build off of each other, but can also be attended separately. This allows each participant to pick and choose which module they attend throughout the year, and can skip one if they feel the topic does not apply to them.

    See module topics below.

Current Modules

These groups are designed for adults (18+) with ADHD or ADHD-like symptoms. They are not for children with ADHD, nor are they designed as educational tools for parents of children with ADHD.

  • Over 4 sessions, you will learn about ADHD in adults, assess your executive functioning strengths and weaknesses, and then create a plan to implement meaningful strategies to target your struggles due to ADHD. All of this is done in a therapist-led group setting to provide healthy accountability and support!

  • Each of the 4 sessions builds on the others to provide education, skills, and tools related to ADHD. With a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), the resources gained will help redirect unhelpful thoughts and challenge unhealthy patterns.

Helpful for racing thoughts, impulsivity, perfectionism, emotional control, and personal reflection.

  • When combined with a lack of understanding from parents, teachers, peers, and others, the neurodevelopmental effects and symptoms of ADHD in children can be misinterpreted. Symptoms of ADHD are mislabeled as laziness, lack of drive, disrespect, troublemaking… to name a few.

These messages are often carried by those with ADHD throughout their childhood and into adulthood, creating deep and lasting impacts. Low self-esteem, weak sense of self, difficulties in school, relationship issues, or addiction can plague many adults with ADHD. Particularly when a proper diagnosis or treatment comes years into adulthood. After you have a pile of mistakes that add to or seem to validate those negative messages.

This module is designed to explore common trauma and shame messages related to untreated or undertreated ADHD. You will also gain tools to process and redefine those negative messages into something that helps you move forward.

  • Note: This group is not designed to treat active addiction.

Have you struggled to control your phone use or video game time? Have you gained partial sobriety from a substance or addictive behavior but still find you fall into a similar trap every few weeks? I could be your ADHD brain.

Designed to provide psychoeducation to help you understand the ADHD brain and why it is more sensitive to potentially addictive activities like substances, sex, or video games. You will learn to identify your patterns and triggers. You will gain ways to monitor and check into your sensitivities and gain tools to create guardrails and boundaries for yourself.

Helpful for those of us who get stuck doom scrolling, playing video games for 3 hours longer than we planned, or falling back into unhealthy or unwanted patterns every few weeks.
